One of my passions is books and I suppose that this would be a good place for me to think 'out loud' about my readings.
I just finished S.E. Hinton's The Outsiders for the first time. A friend of mine has been the young adult library for me and has encouraged me to read many of the young adult novels that I probably should have read when I was in the young adult author's target audience. I'm not sure if it was pride that kept me from reading many of these titles at a younger age, but I have moved past that pride, or whatever else it may have been, and recently finished The Harry Potter Series, His Dark Materials trilogy, as well as The Hunger Games trilogy. While The Hunger Games is a more recent title, and was not around when I was the target audience's age, I am including it in my list because it is a book that I probably would have overlooked if it did exist at such an age for me.
Inspired by the finishing of my most recent book, this is (the beginnings of) a list of the books that I have discussed in my blog. If anyone has any suggestions as to books that I should read and discuss I would love to hear them.
